Dear Friends,
The coming of the summer months also brings new projects and adventures to us here at the Dominican House of Studies. After witnessing the ordination of eight of our brothers two weekends ago, the student brothers have officially begun their work for the summer.
In light of this transition, we will also have a change in the frequency of blog posts, as we did last summer. Starting this week and continuing through August, we will only have two posts per week. One of them, the weekly post on Wednesday, will be what you would normally expect from Dominicana. The other post, which we will post on Fridays, will feature a book review from one of the student brothers. The student brothers will share their thoughts about books from a variety of genres. Regardless, we hope that the reviews are both informative and provide you with some options for summer reading.
As we enter the summer, please know of our prayers for you, our readers. It has been a trying time over the past few months, but we know that our heavenly Father ever cares for us. We know that no trouble or distress can separate us from the love of Christ (cf. Rom 8:35).
Be assured of our prayers, and please keep us in your prayers as well.
Your brothers in Christ,
The Editors of Dominicana
