“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” (Ps 127:1)
This week, Dominicana Journal Online reached a count of three million views since our first post in September 2011. From its beginning, this project has been “the fruit of the Dominican student brothers’ desire to learn about God by contemplating the world in His light.” With this goal before us, for almost 7 years, we have been able to offer daily articles, proclaiming in every way the Truth who is Christ.
The work of God is not measured in numbers—and yet, the Psalm commands us to “go about Zion, walk all around it, note the number of its towers” (Ps 48:13). Our Father has blessed and sustained this work of preaching—and we rejoice in his blessings, for they are a sign of his everlasting mercy for us.
So as our Easter joy continues, we invite you to join us in our thanksgiving. In this, as in every blessing the Lord gives, let us stand, remember, and proclaim: “This is God, our God for ever and ever. He will lead us until death” (Ps 48:15).
