1. En gloriosa vulnera 1. The glorious wounds, oh now behold
In quibus nostra scelera That Christ in his own nature bore
Christus misericordia To wash away our crimes of old
Divina solvit omnia. On Mercy’s bright eternal shore.

2. Amore aeterno, Domine, 2. In Your eternal love, O Lord,
Pro peccatore homine, You did not spare Your only Son.
Auxilio vitafero, That sinful nature be restored
Non pepercisti Filio. And made by mercy with you one.

3. Sanctus Deus carnaliter, 3. The Holy God, incarnate one,
Fortis homo debiliter, Immortal strength with human breath
Et immortalis, occidens, Who gave in the eternal Son
Amara morte miserens. Sweet mercy by his bitter death.

4. Dum Spiritum emiseras, 4. O Lord, you sent your spirit blest
